Narendra Modi visits troopers in Ladakh, says 'bravery sent message regarding India's strength'
Leh:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on weekday self-addressed the troopers in Nimmoo, Ladakh, voice communication that the bravery displayed by them and their compatriots have sent a message to the globe regarding India's strength.


"The bravery that you simply and your compatriots showed, a message has gone to the globe regarding India's strength," same Modi whereas addressing the troopers.

"Your spirit is above the heights wherever you're announce these days," he added.

"Atmanirbhar Republic of India Ka sankalp aapke tyag, balidan, pursharth ke karan aur bhi mazbut hai,"(The determination of self-directed Bharat gets reinforced from your sacrifice and courage)," Modi same.

The troopers were discovered maintaining social distancing whereas Modi's address.

Modi on weekday created a surprise visit to Ladakh and was briefed by senior officers at Nimmoo amid current tension with China. He was in the middle of Chief of Defence workers (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and military chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane.

He reached Nimmoo timely weekday morning and interacted with Army, Air Force and ITBP personnel.

Sources had earlier privy regarding CDS Rawat's visit to Leh on weekday.

General Rawat's visit holds importance since it comes within the wake of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's visit to Ladakh being rescheduled.

Earlier, the Defence Minister was regular to go to Ladakh to review the state of the military amid the continued standoff with China.

The situation at the India-China border remains tense once twenty Indian troopers lost their lives during a violent face-off within the Galwan depression on 15-16 June once Chinese troops tried to unilaterally amendment the establishment throughout the diminution.

India and China are concerned in talks to ease the continued border tensions since last month.
